Ohio law requires notice to OHIO811 before excavation, with a working-day waiting period and a tolerance zone around each mark. Ohio's utility-notification statute also puts weight on how excavators work inside that zone — vacuum excavation and hand digging are the defensible methods, and we use them.
ODOT and local permits
State route crossings require ODOT permit-to-occupy documentation with drawings and maintenance-of-traffic detail; counties, townships, and municipalities layer their own right-of-way permits on top. We build the crossing detail into the bid so the permit path is understood before mobilization.
